This blog is for me to upload all of the media work that I will be doing throughout the year. All of the work uploaded will be to do with Music Magazines so please feel free to comment on the work presented.


By the end of the year I will have uploaded 3 different types of work, the Research and Planning to the magazine, the Organisation of the Magazine and the drafting to the Music Magazine.


Research and Planning includes;

• An introduction to my brief which I am currently typing
• The genre of the magazine I will be making
• An analysis of 2 music front covers, 2 contents pages and 2 double page spreads
• An electronic questionnaire, feel free to complete this when it is uploaded onto the blog
• The Prelim of the magazine
• An analysis of a college magazine, the front cover of a college magazine, a college contents mock-up and justify the choices that I have made

The organisation of the Magazine includes;

• A mood board
• A production schedule
• Venue release forms
• Risk assessments
• A prop list
• A costume list
• And an actor/model list

The drafting includes;

• A front page mock-up
• A contents page mock-up
• A double page spread mock-up
• Photoshop practices
• And mock shots of the band for the magazine

All of the above will add up to make part of my Media A/S level.
